maybe a necklace with a pendant w/ the babies birthstone...or all three of your birthstones, with room to add on more stones if you have more kids. The best thing for you to do is make her feel beautiful, because women are self-conscience after giving birth with all the fat we have on our tummies after! And help out with the baby as much as possible!

First i'd like to say WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?! there are women out there LOOKING for a man like you ROFL.
Second .......If you REALLY want to show how proud, how appreciative, how you can HELP........i know you'll probably think this is stupid but, after having a baby, a woman doesn't really want to clean the house, change diapers, bottle feed the baby. A woman wants to rest as much as possible after all the labor she's indured, and delivering a baby into the world. A woman has gone through soo much that rest is what she wants, not just needs. Clean up the house a little, take turns changing and feeding the baby, bring your wife something to eat and drink if she's hungry and thirsty. Ask her if there's something she would like YOU to do for her. Honestly, it'll make her love you more and appreciate you more for it. It's the best thing my husband did (not to mention the little things helps too lol)
Congratulations to you both :)

reward was probably not the best choice of words i definitly would not use that word when talking to your wife i hope you mean to show her how much love and apperciation you have for her and in that case short of having a million dollars to spend on diamonds and things i would say give her something specail and from the heart have a picture of her and new baby professionaly frammed and mounted or if you dont want to buy something make sure you are doing as much as you can around the house cook clean be understanding with her and her inevitable mood swings.

A reward? Gave you your baby? You make it sound like she just completed a project and now you are going to reward her. Try acting like a family and both of you helping each other out.

The best thing that I liked that my husband done for me was to help out with all those nighttime feedings. We would take turns. He helped out with the housework till I got back on my feet (so to speak). He was more than willing to watch our son while I would go out and maybe have my hair done or have my nails done. He still does. Being a good father is the best gift you can give her and the baby. Give her some alone time often. It gets stressful to be the only one taking care of the baby when the both of you made it. I commend you for thinking of your wife. I hope that this has helped.

Besides the HUGE prize of now having a beautiful baby to show for all her hard work, the next runner up would be diamonds.

Everything else pales in comparison. Oh, and help with the baby. You have no clue how worn out a mother can get.

Help out with changing the diapers. Get up in the middle of the night to tend to the newborn. Take her out to eat or order in or cook the meal yourself, don't burn it!

Get the family portrait done! 8x10. Send out the photos to family and friends. The smaller size ones.

Help with the housework! Let her have time off away from the house. A mini shopping trip for clothes and groceries when she is up to it.

Let her pick the childs name out. Unplug the phone at night. Replug in next day.

Don't hassle her for sex, til she bothers you for it! And wear a condom, unless you want another one on the way so soon.

She gave your baby? What did she give the baby?

Whatever it is that she gave the baby you can reward her by giving her flowers.

Help her the most you can with your baby...trust me it is very exhausting. Try keeping the house organized, take turns for feeding the Baby! Help her as much as you can. My Husband wasnt much help and my House was a MESS that made me very depressed.

Whatever you do..DO SOMETHING!!!!! Whether it's buying her something she's been eying or treating her to a "mommy's day off" do something to make her know you appreciate the fact that she has literally just been through hell to bring your child into this world. If nothing else praise her and let her know how good of a job she did and thank her for it.
