If the leaves have fallen, or are all brown... take a small branch and bend it.

If it snaps, the plant is dead, if it bends, then there is still life!

Plants can't die as long as the root is still in soil the best way to keep them alive is to be hopeful and keep watering it even if it seems like there's nothing else left. And i don't think the cold weather did it any harm it just needs a little time to recoop.Give it good sunlight and don't annoy it, with the water it should be back to health in no time.

I thought a plant was dead. I watered it for two weeks and all of a sudden a leaf started to sprout right at the very bottom of the plant. If it was sitting in cold weather it should have been watered with warm water right away.

Remove some of the soil. If the roots are white and viable then it will probably make it. I did the above on several plants I just knew were dead and was surprised to see they were very much alive.

Check for lividity. Lay the plant on its back. After 30 minutes check to see if the green color is pooling at the bottom and if the top is turning white. If so, its dead.

Questions are magnificent issues. it relatively is often good to ask, to workout the ideas. yet you ought to comprehend that frequently we merely don't have the solutions. You ask why existence exists on the earth, no longer Mars. it is because of the fact the circumstances on the earth are alongside with to assist our particular style (carbon-based) of existence. we've water, the suitable mix of oxygen and reasonable temperatures. Why do I exist, from the particular sperm and egg from my Dad and Mum, quite than somebody else, from a distinctive sperm? threat, organic and easy. Now those solutions fulfill me. yet they won't fulfill you. it relatively is beneficial to assert 'sure, yet there might desire to be extra!' it is effective. in case you want to characteristic a added length of a 'God' into the equation, it is as much as you. i do no longer locate it mandatory in my opinion. Does that help? .

do a scrach test, this is a test that you scatch the trunk of the plant and see if their is life...life for the plant isn't always green but that it shows that it has its life's juice....whatever is needed for that plant....check on what is needed for that specific plant....you can also play the wait and see game....if it doesn't come back it isn't alive....

If you see green, there's always a chance to save it.
When plants start to die, the first become Chlorotic, which means they are losing their chlorophyll, Then they become crispy and brown and are considered Necrotic. or lifeless.
