If I am not mistaken the song was from the movie "Nashville" and was sung by Keith Carradine. Jim Croce never sang a song called "I'm Easy". The song he had on the charts on the day he died was "The Hard Way Every Time"

The people that say Keith Carradine are correct for your song "I'm Easy". The other song being referred to here is "Easy (Like Sunday Morning)" by the Commodores, Lionel Richie was the lead singer for that song. It come out sometime in the late '70s.
