definately normal,
were you out and about doing stuff today? even doing something more than you usually do in a day can/will lull baby to sleep.
I know people who have eaten candy, drank coffee or orange juice to get baby to move.
also--lightly scratch or rub your belly, that makes my baby move
if there is no movement for 24 hours though call your doctor.

I have those days, and im 27 weeks. The baby had 3 days straight where he didnt stop moving, then all the sudden, i barely felt anything, then the next day back to kicking the bladder!! I think so long as you feel the baby moving on a regular basis he/she is probably fine. Also, it's only been the last few weeks where the baby has gotten stronger, harder kicks. Around 22 weeks i still had to be sitting still or laying down to really feel him. I bet he/she is just fine though. If ya don't feel the baby for entire day or two, then maybe ya might want to go be checked to make sure. Good luck to ya! It still worries me when i don't feel mine much! Have a good new year!

Babies have there active days and quiet days. That's how it is for me. Some days my baby is quiet, other days, I feel as though I have a hip-hop dancer in there. Drinking some juice will sometimes wake a baby and get it going. Also, take some rest breaks during the day. A lot of babies tend to move when their moms are resting, and tend to be lulled to sleep when their moms are on the move. When you're on the move, you're so busy that sometimes you won't notice movement. But if you're feeling movement often, then you and the baby are fine.

At the beginning you will not feel the baby move so much, as he grows you will feel it more. A sweet juice does work for some. They do make a home fetal heart thing, you can listen to the heart beat whenever. It tool sometime to find the heart the first time, but was easier after that. I think it cost about $20 at Babies Are Us.

When I was pregnant when I wouldnt feel my baby move as much I would just poke at my tummy gently and that always got her moving; also if you drink something really cold that could get your baby's attention.
If you go a while without feeling the baby, call your doctor asap...but baby is probably just sleeping thats what he/she does most of the time in the womb!
congrats and good luck

i think every woman has asked this question before my doctor told me to drink a sugar drink like orange juice or something. lie down wait about 45 mins if the baby has not moved then go to the hospital it has happened to me before i went to the hospital and as soon i got there the baby started moving LOL well i am sure your baby is ok do a kick count as the baby gets older he has less space to move around in so you will feel the baby move less good luck i hoped i eased your mind and Happy New Years

Your baby is probably fine :) He just probably wants to relax from all the other times he's moved inside you soooo much LOL
Best thing for you is not to worry soo much :) If he doesn't move (if i can remember correctly from what doctors have told me) for about 4 or so hours then call your doctor, he/she will set up an appointment. OR what you could do....get a fetal stethescope that way you can reassure yourself that the baby is fine :)

Usually glucose will stir up a baby. I've been told previously to have a glass of o.j. then lie down quiety & see if you notice any movement. If you become concerned you should get it checked out at your nearest hospital. I also had many days of no movement with all my pregnancies & all babies were fine. Give yourself a time frame to work within then get it checked out if you still have no movement. I'm sure all is fine. Best of luck.

A nice cold glass of juice/water will surely get em going.
I dont know wether in your trimester if the have developed eyes and are blinking, if so, they can sense wether its day or night outside. Many will be active during the day and sleep during the night. lol. Many cant be that lucky and just have a rambunctious lil one in there. Like I said drink a full glass of really cold liquid, and wait and see what there reaction is.
