Wow... not even close... it's Tom Brady. You can try to argue Peyton Manning because he is second, but Brady is better. Everyone just loves to praise Peyton's stats... so? Stats don't make a great QB. You know why Peyton's stats look like that? Because instead of lobbying for a better defense with top defensive draft picks he insists on getting top offensive picks just so he can look good and then he complains about the defense later when he can't win the game in the playoffs. Watch Tom Brady and Peyton Manning play... Manning just throws the ball up in the general area of his pro bowl receivers and they get it... and thats all he does all game... thats why "he" breaks all those records. Tom Brady though... instead of upping his stats spreads the ball around to whoever gives his team the best chance to score. And he threads it was such grace and accuracy it's unbelievable. See... people don't even watch Tom Brady or Peyton Manning... they just look at Peyton's stats and say "Wow... he must be better." Watch how they both play the game considering what both QBs have to work with and then make an informed decision on who is the best QB today. Peyton Manning has had the same recievers for 7 or more years and yet still can't make it to the Superbowl... ya know why... because throwing it up in the playoffs just doesn't work, not in an all or nothing scenario... remember when Ty Law picked him 4 times on his own a few years back? Yeah... Tom Brady... different receiving corps every year... spreads the ball around and throws touchdowns to LINEBACKERS... Tom Brady plays to win... not to break records, and believe me... watch him play... he could if that is what really mattered to him. And lets remember... Brady has three superbowls under his belt, two of which he received Superbowl MVP honors and his first being in the Superbowl he brought a floundering Patriots team too his first year starting off the bench. And hey... if your stubborn and don't wanna believe me... here is an article with a whole bunch of stats for you to look at... since that's what you seem to all base your opinions on...

Has anyone been watching Manning the last few games.....ARGH
Brees is very good but the rookie with all the tools....even the composure to lead his team to several last minute victories like a seasoned veteran is Vince Young. Big strong agile cool under pressure. A mediocer quarterback can have great passing stats with great receivers but an all around great quarterback has decent rushing yards on his personal achievement list.

He may not be considered the best right now but he has the skill to be and should at least be in the running for rookie of the year.

Ken Dorsey
3rd string QB for the Cleveland Browns

here's why
-He's thrown ZERO interceptions (can Peyton Manning say that?)
-He won a national title in college at Miami

Peyton Manning, and the reasons why I think are the following:

-High Completion Percentage
-Very Perceptive
-Line Audibles

He's amazing at audibles, very intelligent guy.

it IS peyton manning, anyone saying it's drew brees, well you weren't saying that last year, and anyone saying it's romo, well you won't be saying that next year, when you look at consistency it's peyton, he can't help it that he doesn't have much of a team behind him defensively and a mediocre offense, when you look at the stats manning is the best.
