I'm 18 and bi. The first guy I've ever had a crush on was straight. It was a big, 3 year, big-secret-to-everyone-but-me kind of crush. He was really nice about it when I told him, and even tried to help me get over him over AIM. That was 6 months ago around graduation time, but I've thought about him almost every day since then. I get that he's straight. He even has a girlfriend. Why can't I/How can I get over him?

Emotions are like chapters in a book. The more you read the harder it becomes to remember details of the first ones. The better the chapters become as you read the more you realize, how lame the earlier chapters were.

I think you should take some time and look into your GBLT local community. They have lots of different programs and social events. They probably have a youth group that does some cool events.

When it comes down to it. Who has the time for figuring out if the guy is straight or gay? Leave that to the closet cases. This way you know the deal. Your already a step ahead. Plus, your new family will accept you with open arms.

awwww it'll be okay. some new beauty will catch your eye and tho you may never forget your first crush you'll eventually turn your attentions to a love that reciprocates. just try not to allow yourself to be blind to the admiring glances you might be getting from potential lovers. you don't want to miss a good thing while you're mooning over some guy you can't have. right?

It will just take time. You will always remember him but respect his wishes and go on and some day when you find someone else you will wonder what all the fuss was about. This is very normal. Take care!!!!!!!!

you need to replace him with someone else..don't let your missing him become just a habit that you feel all the time...Nothing is going to give you what you want in this situation...time to move on...sorry.
