If you touch your hamsters cheeks you can most likely feel the food in there. They have unique cheek pouches.I used to have a Hamster that would stuff his cheeks to the point where he could not fit through the opening of his little house.

Hamsters hoard food/seeds in their cheeks. They're specially designed for this kind of food storage.
I'm not sure what they do with it after they have their cheeks full. I think they just go to wherever they want to put the food and empty it out there.

hamsters cheeks puff up when they've gathered their food- they have pouches in their cheeks where they store it. stuff like corn & sunflower seeds. that way they can hide it in their cage.

lol, There cheeks aren't puffing up like there swelling!
Hamsters have 'Food hoarding mouths' to hoard food inside. You may notice that when you give you hamster food he will stuff it all in his mouth at once. Hes not yet eating it, but he is hoarding so no one will steal it!

First of all, you should have researched a little more on hamsters.
It means that they're just storing food in their cheeks. They have little sacks in their cheecks. They hold food in their cheecks for later.

They store little bits of food there for use when they feel hungry
the same as squirrels and chipmunks and a dozen other breeds !! It's kinda like their own little picnic basket !!!
I see we've had a BOT (KISSY S) with the first "answer" here
will they never cease ????

Banfield promises a large fee plan. they are in puppy smart. they provide loose place of work visits with this plan. yet another subject you're able to desire to do is call a vet and ask if it is a few thing you're able to desire to have regarded at. attempt to get them to tell you no count if it relatively is a few thing they have clinically determined in the past.
