I think instead of focussing on 80 pounds or whatever number you want to lose. Its best you put all your time an energy on exercise and watch what you eat are key elements. Trust me on this one don't worry about you weight just do whats right for your body and you will notice the difference later on.

actually, you can eat right, exercise daily at 24 fitness, and stay away from any forms of junk food. oh yeah, and eat dairy products too, but the ones that say 'light' on it. it makes you fuller, so you dont eat as much.

try weight watchers. I lost 10 lbs in a month!! It worked really well for me and a few of my friends.
