I too just had a baby and have TERRIBLE stretch marks all over my stomach even above my belly button but I know that the stretch marks will eventually fade overtime. From what I am told nothing really helps stretch marks. You will have them forever. However, my neighbor suggested that in the mean time I use Vitamin E capsules. You can get them in the vitamin section of the grocery store. She had suggested that I break them open and smear the liquid over my stretch marks and then put a warm towel over it for about 15 minutes. I think that it is taking some of the redness away from them. I am not sure if they will go away for good. (supposedly vitamin E is supposed to be good with fading scars). Either way it is worth a shot. Good Luck!

Absolutely NOT. But with the next baby, obsessively rub lotion on your stomach and hips from the day you conceive. That's how I didn't get any stretch marks I think!!! I did get some during puberty and those marks are still there.....like an old friend....they are there 'til the end.

Im sorry, there isnt anything you can do, unless you get surgery done.
The do fade over time though...
stretch marks start in the middle layer of skin--there are no kind of cremes or ointments that you can put on to penetrate that deep.

Nope. Stretch marks are forever. There are creams and lotions that work to minimize them for SOME women but they're not guaranteed. If you didn't want stretch marks you shouldn't have gotten pregnant.
