When i was pregnant with my second child (girl) i was debating on whether to name her Samantha or a name i found "Marina"
Haley is a good name but becoming more popular. I do have a daughter named Cydney (popular spelling is Sidney) I have a son named Talon (pronounciation Tah-len) Luna is a good name...not original but not popular either...best thing to do is Google baby names whatever you do though ....DON'T go out there and buy baby naming books...they're a waste of money if you ask me GL with the name and tell your sister congratulations :)

Mikaila: unique, unusual, and fun, but common enough that it isn't completely strange [pronounced "Mik-kayhla"], or McKenna. If you want to keep with the Rs, names like Rhianna, Rhea, or Rasine would work [Rasine is my favorite, Persian for "red rose"]

My daughter is Samara and we get complimented all the time on it.

(and almost no one knows it's the name of the girl from "The Ring")
