My friend marion thinks she is fat. She looks at me and our friend joyce and always says,"Why cant I be skinny like you?" or "God your tiny!" She isnt fat though! She isnt exactly the skinniest person in the world either.I guess she is average for how tall she is. I guess she is 5'4 but Im not sure thats my guess.She is a tiny bit on the chunky side tho.Shes just going through that so called "fat phase".How do I get it throught her head that she isn't fat? Please help thats all that she talks about.

You need to go together on a fun day where you get your nails done and have a pedicure and get your hair restyled. Look her in the eye and tell her that you genuinely think that she's beautiful, and that you don't think she's fat. Also, look up body mass index on google and show your friend...most of all, be really encouraging and just keep an eye on her right now. She may be looking for support and for someone to tell her that they think she is beautiful.

you won't get it through to her that she is not fat just keep telling her that she is not and maybe it will up her self confidence. hopefully.

tell her shes fine the way she is and a lot of guys don't like girls skinny because its really gross when you can see your bones and stuff.
