To be Jamaican is a nationality, not a race. Black is the race or African which ever you like. Your question is contradictory. Your pal is Black even inspite of the shown fact that she at once is Jamaican on the grounds that her father is Jamaican, which potential she will legally be a citizen of Jamaica without lots difficulty. To be politically nicely suited, She could be termed as a Jamaican-American (Jamerican) of a African descent.

I think "real" Jamaicans have to be born in Jamaica at least to Jamaicans living in Jamaica, but to people around the world, I'm not sure it matters that much. It probably matters more if you are Rastafarian.

It's like saying that American is a race.
Most Jamaicans are black so if he's black then you are 100% black. (African)

Jaimacans are just people from Jamaica, same as people from England are English and from Canada are Canadian, eh? So you could just say you are of "mixed" or "diverse" ethnicity or something, or if you live in the USA, "American".
