its better to buy jeans straight from the store. not online.. then you can make sure that they fit right and you really like them.. sometimes online they look abit different than what they really look like.
i suggest go to the nearest store and try em on.. (do the test i told you earlier)
if its cheaper on the net than go back and buy them.. but if you do decide to buy em online with out trying 1st then its a risk. if you don't like them.. you can always sell on ebay.
but yes ultra low will show a bit of ur butt when you sit down.

There's really no telling for sure until you try them on, and do a little bending and sitting. They may be okay for straight up standing or walking, but its the sitting and bending where one my get an eyeful. You might want to check their website and see they're policy on returns so you can try out the pants. If you really don't want to take a chance, you could probably still cancel the order by contacting their customer service line.

I don't wear jeans (I'm a skirt girl), but I've heard Stacy and Clinton on What Not to Wear suggest mid-rise jeans to ladies. I would think those would give you good coverage without looking like you're wearing "mom jeans".

most jeans are made low rise now. think of it like this:
regular pants sit at your waist.
low rise sit at your hips
ultra low rise, sit a little lower.
I hang with mostly african american girls, conservative ones; and they do not like the ultra low rise (and neither do i) because every time you bend down (squatting) your crack gets ready to show unless you have on a long enough shirt to cover it all.
i suggest you go with the low rise.

I here yah girl! I got a BooTah Ok. Those that are giving you that advise look how they look in those jeans. BooTah girls can wear low raiders. Ultra is pushin it. I got me some skinny low-raiders and I look good. I don't have plumier crack when I bend over. And now I bend real slow in front of my man. Try them they took inchs off my thighs. Always try jeans on before buying.

They might show your butt crack. That's why it's not a good idea to purchase clothes online, because you can't try them on to see how they fit and look before you purchase them.

if the size is right, it shouldn't. but, when you are buying clothes online, it's better to stick to cuts that you know fit you well, rather than losing your sleep over it.
