J-Kidd is an idiot. If he knew the history they would know that the WWE copied Samoa Joe's character because they couldn't sign him to the WWE before TNA did so they picked someone whom they already fired (TNA fired as well) under the name "Jamal" when he was a part of "3 Minute Warning." This isn't unusual for WWE, Vince did the same thing when he couldn't sign the Legion of Doom until later so, because he refuses to be outdone, puts a half-assed team (like Umaga is a half-assed wrestler) in the ring and call them the greatest. Hell, Vince even copied Samoa Joe's undefeated streak. To answer your question, Umaga wouldn't stand a chance against Samoa Joe. Samoa Joe is one of the few big men in history that is not only strong, but technically sound, has great submission skills (hence the name "Samoan Submission Machine," he is quick and agile for a guy his size, and he has great aerial skills (he can run and do a suicide dive over the top rope and to the outside and he is 300 pounds!). The truth is that cheap excuse for a copy Umaga isn't in the same league as Samoa Joe and I am a WWE fan as well as a TNA fan and I mention that because anybody who would say Umaga would win obviously has never watched TNA. Oh, and cpr_dummy, Samoa Joe won the won the "Most Outstanding Wrestler Award" in 2005 and has 4 "5 Star Matches" (most only have one and only Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle of the WWE has more that still currently wrestles) from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and they judge wrestlers on their ability not on how they do that year because they were being pushed like Pro Wresling Magazine does, maybe you should watch the match that Samoa Joe had with Kurt Angle before you talk cpr_dummy, Bret Hart said he hasn't seen a better match in a while.

I don't even watch TNA and I would say the Bulldozer. Umaga is a cheap gimmick and I've thought so since the day he came up. He's got damn near no actual moves and the only thing he can do is throw his weight around. I've seen and heard great things about Joe.

the samoan bulldozer would chew joe up and spit him out umaga isn't much of a wrestler but samoa joe has not wrestling ability at all. and talent the only way joe knows anything about talent is what he looked up about it in the dictionary.

Umaga would beat The Samoan Doe-Boy like he was the Bootleg.

It's whoever the booker decides, but since you're saying theoretically, Samoa Joe is the superior athlete and better wrestler. If Vince does the booking, Samoa Joe would probably be squashed by Umaga. If someone other than Vince did the booking,Samoa Joe wins. Samoa Joe is hands down, one of the best wrestlers in the business today, whether it is technical wrestling or brawling, the man can is more wellrounded than Umaga, who relies on his power and brawling to win. Samoa Joe has the edge in terms of stamina, and in terms of overall athletic ability. Umaga is winning because he is a monster heel right now
in the WWE, and that's the way he is being booked. Samoa Joe
is a tweener, because even though he is supposed to be a heel,
he takes on anyone. Only WWE marks would pick Umaga to win. The rest of the wrestling fan community would endorse Joe.
Larry gets my vote for the funniest answer to this question so far.
J-Kidd "07" and cpr_dummy2003 are WWE marks Thomas C, so don't take their comments too seriously when it comes to
actually deciding. I've seen some interesting discussion regarding pro wrestling in the WWE Past and Presant Survival
Football group located here:
http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/survival/7864
Since we're on the subject of Samoa Joe, go to Google Video,
and check out some of the links I posted in the source. I have
to thank the qtikw (ID: repoman in that WWE Survival Football
group) for the link. Demolition and The Powers of Pain (Warlord
& The Barbarian) are the two most obvious attempts of trying to be Road Warrior clone teams, especially Demolition. That's because the Road Warriors were under contract to a rival promotion, not to mention the time they spent wrestling in Japan.
By the time, Vince managed to sign them, they were already on
the decline as a tagteam. They became a joke under Vince, with LOD2000 as a weak version of the LOD. Rocco would have never made it out of the woodship with their original gimmick.

Since we're on the subject, here's the tentative schedule for WWE DVD releases for 2007.
