What is it called when a women is pregnant and she died but the baby lives?

Just wondering. I was watching house

I call it sad. Of course I am pregnant so I cry at Aladdin :). I don't know if there is a term for it though except dying at childbirth. I was watching it too.

Hmm, not sure that there is an official medical term... But I would call it incredibly sad. :(

She died in childbirth, that's what I heard all my life.
