There were rumours in my family that my grandfather was part Mic Mac Indian. In my family, we're all british and some German (on my dad's side). My mom's family all came from Newfoundland where there were many Indians. Her father had dark leathery skin with high cheekbones. I feel like I am Indian, but can I say it?

If they're "rumors", then do some geneaology and family history and see if there are any Natives in your bloodline. A lot of tribes want you to have a certain blood quantum to enroll as a tribal member, so check that, too. If you don't want to enroll (or don't meet the BQ requirements), you can still say you're Native if you know for sure that you are. It's also possible to be recognized by a tribe and not enrolled. However if it's just in your blood and not in your culture, you'll probably be known as a "box checker".

So it's nothing really that can be answered through here. If you really want to know, you'll have to do research on your own to find what you need.

If you don't mind my asking (and I don't mean this in a rude way at all), in what ways do you feel like you're Native? And is this something you felt before you found out that you could be mixed-blood or after?

Good luck! :)
