"purgith" ? Seabass is OK - but when he hasn't the accuracy to hit 30 yarders straight, he's barely worth it. After all, no-one would risk a 60-yarder during the game, because of the field position it would give the other team. It's only when it's a kick to win, or tie that a team will go for the long FG. BTW Neil Rackers, here in Phoenix is about as long and is far more accurate. But the Cardinals suck, nonetheless.

62 yards, by Jason Elam and another guy. I've heard of a 73 yard field goal, but obviously this would be in something other than NFL. I vaguely remember seeing footage of it. The kicker was barefoot when he blasted the 73 yarder. I don't remember where I saw it, though.

63 yards by Tom Dempsy. He had half a foot (his kicking foot) and used a prosthetic blunt plastic shoe to do it. So, lots of people say it didn't really count.
