Me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex around the end of november and beginning of december and in the and around december 6 I had my period for only 2 days, the first day was mild and the second day was brownish spotting.(and it was early) usually my period last for about 6 days. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, and I wanted to know is it to early to tell? and how long after can you find out if your pregnant?

If you are having unprotected sex and got your period after the fact chances are you are in the clear. You can usually find out if your pregnant around the time you are due for your next period.

It could be because of your having sex why your periods are irregular. Here's the thing....women can get pregnant no matter what....whether they were ON their period or OFF their period. Women have periods while pregnant and alot don't. Women have irregular periods after sex........It's all normal. But, if you feel or even think you're prenant, the best thing for you to do is go the the doctor's office and have one done professionally. Sometimes not ALL home pregnancy tests are accurate due to the way they're done. Or if you feel that you'd rather take another home pregnancy test......wait until the morning to do it. And honestly, it is NEVER TOOOO early to tell if you're pregnant:) you either are or you're not....just depends on if you did the test EXACTLY the way it's instructed, OR if you body can be read by a home pregnancy test. AND some doctors don't have to have urine samples..some take blood to find out....(hormones in the blood stream and urine) GL to you BOTH :)

Yes I think it is. I didn't find out until I was 6 weeks, I even took the pregnancy tests weekly because I had morning sickness early. I also had the same period. A few weeks later I found out I was pregnant. Spotting is a good sign, pregancy and stress. So it could be either. I'd wait until the next period, if it's late or doesn't come, take another test. I would wait until I completely missed a period. Sometimes you can have irregular periods due to hormone changes as well as stress. Here is a little tip you can never had a false positive on a pregnancy test. It is also best to take a pregnancy test first thing in the morning when the hormones have time to build up in your bladder.

You can have a blood test done or wait another week and take a test, I took a pregancy test when I thought I missed my period and it was negative then a week later still no period and I took another and it was positive.

I had bleeding during the first weeks of my pregnancy. Go to your doctor for a blood test.

thats a tough one because some women cant take home pg tests they actually have to take blood tests to find out.. and you can have your period and still be pg so if you think you are you might want to go in for some blood work.. gl
