You can dress stylishly and be a beautiful woman but still be friendly and warm and sincere. Smile! :) And make eye contact. It shows the world that you are approachable.

Dress with the times (stylish) but not haut couture (unless you are hunting for a man in Beverly Hills or 5th Ave). Dress sweet but sexy, showing curves (not quite snug and never tight), and not too much flesh, leaving a lot to the imagination. The imagination can conger more enticing images than reality could ever provide. Guys find ladies in skirts/dresses approachable. Men like to see legs, but too much leg (for the situation/location/scene) can be an advertisiment for a one-night-stand. For example, at a black tie affair, a floor legnth evening dress is appropriate, whereas at a nightclub, mid-thigh would be fine. If you look respectable, you have a better chance being found approchable by a respectable guy.

What men think is stylish and what women think are two different things. Men don't like a lot of make-up (would you want to kiss someone and taste foundation? and lip gloss is just gooey). They don't like lace, because it doesn't feel good under their fingers. They like clothing that looks like it might come off easily, like skirts that are a little loose around the hips. They don't want to have to figure out how your clothes come off. They also don't like girls who look like they're expensive to date, with Tiffany necklaces and logos all over, or lots of bling.
Nice guys are intimidated by a lot of fashion.
Fashion magazines and fashions are produced by women and gay guys, they're not designed to get real-world guys, they're designed to make you spend money.
You can be hot, but leave something to the imagination.
Decide whether you want to attract men or impress women, because it's hard to do both.

Well, speaking from a guy's standpoint, I think you can be stylish, in the sense of clothes. But keep your natural, nice personality...and just be yourself.
I ignore girls that seem to be acting as if they are something different than what they really are.
Nice guys go for genuinely nice girls, in my opinion.
I'm not a fan of a lot of makeup. In fact, I love the natural, girl-next-door look.
I know women hate being referred to as "cute"...but that's the ultimate compliment coming from me. I'm not into model-types.
Good luck and Happy New Year.

it's all in how you carry yourself, sweetie. if you act unapproachable, you won't be approached. smiling alot helps. but I'd hope you smile naturally because you look so hot, LOL
