I have been around a while and I've never seen such hatred towards a President and frankly I find it embarassing as an American. I have not always agreed with everything President Bush has said particularly that Islam is a religion of peace and have not always agreed with previous leaders before him both Democrat and Republican but i was raised up to have respect for our Commander In Chief regardless of political affiliation. There are so many activists there who push there agenda and ideas on everyone else as if other's are stupid or don't have a mind of their own spreading their hateful propaganda who think and believe we should be more like Europe and that is more prevalent today than ever particularly when you look at the anti American stuff going on with Hollywood Secular Progressives who think all conservative Christians are mindless and racist which is a downright and disgraceful lie. No American President should ever be treated with this much disdain.

"Bush haters" is a term used by the Bush administration itself to attack and diminish their political opponents.
Most people so labeled don't hate the man, they simply think he has made some very serious mistakes.
Like the war in Iraq, which the CIA says has made us less safe and that has cost much money and many lives. Or tax cuts that mostly benefit people who are already very wealthy. Or posturing on social issues to divide America, in the interest of winning elections, at the cost of harming our society. Or denying scientists the right to do stem cell research using embryos which were harvested for artificial births, but were not needed and will be destroyed no matter what. More are listed above.
And he has a problem about ever admitting he was ever wrong about anything. Not a very Presidential quality.

Yeah. all human beings with any intelligence knew this even in the previous he develop into elected the 1st time. Ive no longer seen the 2016 movie and probable won't yet its premise is genuine. Granted its going to be complicated for him to do in 8 years, yet by govt order he's getting rather some distance. according to danger you will desire to bypass see the 2016 movie for your self in the previous figuring out that their premise is fake. narrow minded is to decide some thing devoid of all the information, which you seem doing on that movie. I suspect that it has to do with a variety of legitimate concerns and events - the first election, his intelligence gathering and analysis, his inability to communicate effectively, his insistence on "staying the course", his insistence on keeping people in positions when it is clear to most people that the job they are performing isn't up to standard and so on.
A lot of the hatred, however, is based on rhetoric, innuendos and outright lies.
These generally originate from his political foes and the far left nut bags who think that power on Capital Hill is their birth right.
That being said, I truly think some people just plain can't handle a politician that makes decisions and sticks to his convictions - regardless of the direction of the political winds.
I personally believe George Bush is a man of conviction who is doing everything he can to assure that the United States and its citizens are safe and that the people responsible for the terrorist events around the world are killed or captured.
I believe he is on the right track in trying to build a democracy in the Middle East - a daunting task that most politicians would definitely shy away from.
Note: I see already some of the answers - pretty much what I would have expected.

It depends on which people you are talking about. It's always dangerous to try to speak on someone else's behalf, but here would be my guesses for various groups.
Liberals probably hate him first because he came into office illegitimately. He lost the popular vote in 2000. That is not in question. Then, there was a mess in Florida, and he was the first President installed in office by the Supreme Court who halted the re-count. Then, the Florida election has been proven to have been deeply flawed and Gore probably won it. He is the son of privilege, who did not pay his dues yet became President anyway. Dad hushed up his cocaine conviction in Harris County, TX. He is inarticulate, presents the country poorly. Finally, liberals hate him just because he is heavily to the right, and smells like a fascist to the left.
Conservatives hate him because he has abandoned many of the core values of the Party, and squandered a golden chance to advance the conservative agenda and set up the party for decades of dominance. He is a free-wheeling spender, who has made a terrible mess of the federal budget. That does not play well with conservatives, and especially Texas conservatives. He has embarked on nation-building -- that's a definite conservative no-no. Then, the suspension of habeus corpus, the Patriot Act, and the wiretapping of civilians also make conservatives very uneasy.
Europe hates him because he does not respect them, bottom line. In addition, Bush seems to lack any traces of cultural refinement. He is a rough and tumble Cowboy who thinks with his small head and not his big one. Then, deep down they are probably envious that this guy has power over them. There may be some inherent resentment there.
The rest of the world largely hates him because they view him as an imperialist and a killer.
The military probably does not like the fact that he has sent them into battle without proper armor and other protections. Then, he has extended their tours of duty because he refused to send enough troops initially. No coherent plan for peace. For sticking with Rumsfeld too long, and for disregarding the informed judgments of the generals.
On and on.
Personally, I dislike him because he expresses no remorse. For me, the mark of a true scoundrel is a man who makes terrible messes that lead to loss of life -- yet he sleeps like a baby every night, claims he would do it exactly the same if he could do it over, can't think of any mistakes, and insists he has no regrets over anything he has ever done.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is the mark of a truly wretched human being.

I think Bush has created such contempt for himself to the world by basically portraying an image of aloofness, along with contempt for any differing opinions of people who know more about something than he does. He is viewed as a shoot from the hip wild and wooly cowboy, who WILL shoot first and ask questions later. (Like in Iraq). His motto is "It is better to ask for forgiveness, than permission." This really riles some people up as it makes it appear he only pushing his agenda, not the American peoples.

Well, first and foremost he used the Sept 11 attacks along with bs intelligence and fear mongering to manipulate the American people into supporting a war that never had a clear justification and which has killed thousands of American GIs not to mention god knows how many Iraqi civilians.
He also represents a party that has empowered itself by appealing to the xenophobic tendencies of the lowest common denominator of American society with his stands on gay marriage, stem cell research and immigration. This, along with an insincere alliance with evangelicals and a firm stand for American "values" has duped many of our unfortunately naive and gullible countrymen. I mean, really, what kind of "values" does a man who starts a war over control of oil really have? (and if you dont think its about oil than you're a sucker of the first order)
Now, after misleading the country into a costly and unjust war he remains stubborn and contemptuous of criticism, yet he has never, ever made a halfway intelligent argument to support his actions. Only more of the same talking points and propaganda which is the only thing the American people have ever heard from him.
And yeah, he comes across as an idiot who would probably be bagging groceries if it wasn't for his father.

I never used to understand it either, but now I do.
1) He sent 250 000 american troops and sat watching thousands of them being killed.
2) He refused to withdraw his troops when he didn't find any nucleur weaponry. Instead, he led Iraq into complete mayhem and lost more soldiers both American and others.
Now it's too late to withdraw. If US withdraws now, Iraq will be in mayhem. And it's not fair to go barging in, ruin everything and then come out when you want to.
You caused the damage, you jolly well fix it. But while fixing it, more soldiers will be lost---hence many people hate what fix Bush has gotten USA into.
I'm merely talking about the Iraq war here. Forget the rest of the stuff like Hurricane Katrina.

1) He has dismantled parts of the US constitution.
2) He was completely negligent with hurricane Katrina
3) He did nothing about Bin Laden/Al Qaeda in the 8 months he was in office before 9/11.
4) He invaded Iraq with out knowing all the facts and then once he invaded he had no plan on what to do after that.
5) He's gotten the most of the world to hate the US more than at any other time in US history.
6) He has divided the US by declaring a war on liberals like at no other time since eve of the 1st US civil war.
7) And he blantly misleads (lies) to the American people about the war in Iraq.
8) He can't complete a sentence in public unless it's written on a peice of paper for him.
9) Will never admit he's wrong about anything, ever.
10) He sorrounds himself for "yes" men. Advisors that never disagree with him.

I don't hate Bush, I just disagree with his policies and his flouting of the Constitution. He treats it as toilet paper rather than the Founding Document of our Nation! Illegal wiretaps in direct contravention of FISA and the Fourth Amendment. CIA torture-prisons in Europe. Signing statements, where Bush says he's got the right to ignore the law he just signed if he thinks it's necessary to do so. The USA PATRIOT Act allows for him to indefinitely imprison anyone HE deems an "enemy combatant", and he's suspended habeas corpus so as to legally justify doing so. Now, our government can snatch anyone off the street, throw them in jail without charges, and never let them do so much as call their family or even a lawyer, and it's all done without any judicial review WHATSOEVER. He has taken this "unitary executive" and "Decider" bullflop to the brain. :\
