Yep in the third district of Traverse Town there is a door with a fire emblem on it (I think it's between stairs in a corner). You have to cast fire at it in order to open it. Beyond that door is Merlin's House.

In the third district (where the statue of Lady and the tranmp is there is an alleyway at the end of that there is a fire door which you can open when you defeat the 1st boss of Traverse town. If you don't know how to get this boss (it is tricky) e -mail me and I'll help.

In Kingdom Hearts he is behind the Fire Door in the 3rd district.Just cast fire at it and you should be good there fellow KH fan/gamer
