What are some good Game Design laptops?

I'm a current student in high school, and I've already gotten accepted to a college for Game Design/Development...
What would be a good laptop to get for Game Design in May of 2007...?
Please help!

I'm not quite sure what "Game Design/Development" means in terms of a major (computer science? graphic design?) but it should not matter when it comes to purchasing a computer for college. Just look for the same things you would with any computer -- if you're planning on bringing it along with you a lot, look for something lighter/smaller. When it comes to actually doing work in college, you won't need anything very powerful.
