Please see a gynocologist and express your concerns. When I found out I was pregnant for my second son I was told, "Either you have a tubal pregnancy, or an ovarian cyst and a uterine pregnancy." I had the ovarian cyst about the size of a navel orange and was able to continue through my pregnancy, though it was uncomfortable at times. The doctor also gave me advice to seek treatment if I felt a sharp pain and or had abnormal bleeding. I have a friend whose doctors does regular sonograms to check on the status of her cystic ovaries.
Right now a doctor may be just what you need. I think you would feel more at peace to know what is going on and whether or not this could affect your ability to have children. Plus, aren't you concerned there could be some other possibly even more serious medical problem that should be ruled out? Maybe someone at family planning could point you in the right direction. Good luck.

Go to www.webmd.com and search these three things. "Polycystic Ovary Syndrome", "Ovarian Cysts", and "Uterine Fibroids." These three things are VERY common in woman, and you will be able to learn more about them there as well as see if you have any other symptoms.
If you also happen to be overweight, mainly around the midsection, and have a history of diabetes in the family, it's highly likely you will have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. It's basically a hormone imbalance, but it's potentially serious, and it's incurable. I hope you do not have it, because that would make conceiving very hard. But look into and see other symptoms.
Either way, you need to go to the doctor about this, because irregular cycles can lead to ovarian and uterine cancer. So please get it checked out. Be careful though. Make sure you find someone that will take your symptoms seriously, if you have other symptoms of P.C.O.S. then they should ABSOLUTELY do an ultrasound. I've been dealing with those symptoms for over 10 years and OB/GYNs kept brushing my symptoms off, it wasn't until I went to a General Practitioner that I was finally diagnosed with P.C.O.S.
All of this is hard, and scary I know. I thought for 10 years that I must have cysts or cancer, but I couldn't get anyone to take me seriously until I almost bleed to death because of the irregular cycles catching up to me as endometrium hyperplasia. So please get this checked out, I would hate for this to happen to anyone else, and the sooner they find what is actually wrong, the more likely you will be able to have children. I won't ever have the luxery. I wish you all the luck in the world. I hope this helps. Good Luck!!!

Cysts are very common and you should get checked out by a doctor. Having cysts does not necessarily mean that you cannot have children.

you should still be able to concive and carry out a normal pregnency. most if not all women will get a cyst and it normal. but if you feel pain. like if you jump up and down and it hurts then you do have a cyst but its nothing to worry about because if it hurts that just means it bursting, which, i assure you, is nothing to worry about. and it should just go away.

Cysts are extremely common. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) affects 5-10% of women.
