Why buy American when you can buy Japanese? Have you ever driven a Japanese car? If you haven't, you should try it. Even the simplest Japanese car feels much better than its American equivalent! And did I mention the reliability factor? Can't go wrong with a Toyota or a Honda!

To be honest I have first hand experience with both! My dad has a 2004 4x4 supercrew. It looks great and it is very reliable, but I have a 2001 Chevy silverado 5.3l and It kicks the mess out of the
Ford in performance. I can fell the power as I grasp the wheel of my Chevy and throw down the accelerator. The ford on the other had has great endurance but not so much the feeling that your going to lift off. My friend Casey just got a 2004 Chevy silverado Texas Edition and not only is it powerful, but also its very luxurious for a pickup. I'm not putting Ford down because i think their great trucks, but my vote goes for Chevy!

On the basis of your question Chevy is better than Ford but if you're looking for a good car brand consider a Toyota since they're one of the best.

honestly this is a bad question b/c people are biased and will say ford just beacuse they are a for d person and chevy just because they are a chevy person..u no.. chevy has its problems and so does ford i think the newer fords arent as good as the new chevys but the older fords def win the battle (1997-) i own both a 2004 ford f150 and a 2005 chevy 1500 and the ford has a lot more problems than the chevy does and i am a ford person

it is an age previous question which will continually be around yet you're on no account going to get an answer in basic terms someones opinion. some human beings have had a family participants that grew up with all chevy's or all fords. and a few human beings grew up in a family participants that for the time of basic terms bought what they might arise with the money for on the time, did no longer count what kind became on the hood or the fender. as long because it went from element A to point B. some have had a million undesirable journey with one kind which will cause them to hate it continuously. so a techniques as a head to head chevy vs. ford all of them have their united statesand downs. it is all what the guy figuring out to purchase the vehicle is finding for.

Both are good and make excellent full size trucks. Cars have not been either of their strong suits for a long time, but it's getting better. Chevy Impala is the best selling sedan in the US with excellent reliability. Ford Crown Victoria is a tough full-size traditional American sedan with a V8, rear drive, and decent reliability considering most are used as police cars.

both brends make some really good vehicles and some real slag-heaps ford super duty trucks [w/desiel] rule however the chevy full size beats the f150. ford has some real nice cars now[besides crown vic] like the 500, while chevy has almost nothing i guess that hhr thing is the best they could do [rehashed cavelier]
so it realy comes down to what you can live with and a dealership you can trust before and after the sale

in all honesty, with biases aside, chevy really is the better brand. their technology and build quality has come a very long way in the past few years. last year they had fewer recalls than toyota, which is impressive. fords still have many recalls, which is partially why their sales are almost stopped completely. GM is making a comeback, with people starting to realize that they can be trusted to build a quality, reliable vehicle again.

If I had a gun to my head and had to pick I would pick Chevy. But I would go with A Volvo, or Land rover, even though they are both owned bye ford. Lincolns are also nice. I've owned way too many cars in my life, and Right now I own a Lexus, and they are crap. My favorite was my Volvo. My mom currently has my Volvo, and my land rover, and she doesn't want to give them back when I return home. They are both the most reliable, and comfortable vehicles I've ever owned.

Actually, the Toyota Camry has been the best selling sedan in the U.S. the last 8 out of 9 years. But it matters what car you are buying whether you're looking for a car or truck its hard to say which brand is better.
