can someone give me an idea for a song to write?

i'm a singer/songwriter and i am drawing a blank. something happy and inspiring please.

Well this probably sounds like the dullest song title ever but waht don't you have a song that talks about everything that brings joy to your everthing that fulfills you as a person. It could be things in the past that brought joy to you our the things in your life now that keep you going. Like a best friend, boyfriend, family our a certain passion you have like singing and songwriting. Obviously you enjoy doing that so you could also make a song about your love for music and singing and how that keeps you strong because there are other things in your life that you wish you had our wish would go well like for example you wish you had a boyfriend our a supportive family but I still have my music. Something like that. I really don't know where I am going with this whole thing but hopefully I gave you some good ideas. I would write about anything that would put a smile on your face. oh yeah the name of the song could be called My fulfillments. Everything that fulfills you talk about in the song. Probably a lame title but I tried. Good luck

if you're a songwriter you should know that writing can't happen whenever you want, you can't just sit down and decide to write a song when you can't even thing of what it should be about. if you need to right a song this instant, it probably won't be that good. take some time and just think about what makes you happy or inspired, not what people on yahoo answers tell you to write about.

Think about someone you love (friends, family or romantic) and just let it flow. When you really start to delve deep within yourself, so much crap will just flow out haha. I write a TON, and I find that the easiest way to write is to think of a person- whether it's someone I love to death or someone that drives me off the wall- and just spill my heart out about how they make me feel.

Just write whatever flows from your heart. And if you're drawing a blank, maybe wait a little while and come back to it. Forced writing is never as good (in my opinion) as writing that comes flowing from the heart to where you can't hold it back..you just have to write it down and let it out.
