They're stylish and they last long and are really functional. I have a signature dooney and bourke tote, the large one. It came in a 4 pc set (key ring, change purse etc). I've used it as my workbag -to carry my files in it. Had it for the past 3 years. Its pretty durable. As far as obsession- some people just buy them to keep up with the jones's. I can't imagine spending 200 bucks on a little pocket purse. Sheesh.

I love my dooney and bourke bags. They last forever and never go out of style.

i dont think that every woman is obsessed w/ dooney. i personally dont even like dooney. i dont even bother to look at those bags when i walk past 'em.
to some.... they just like it. so maybe the gals in your family likes dooney- so they all have it.

i actually do not like dooney and bourkes i hate how they put d and bs on everything and there bags that look like crayon drawings. im more a fan of coach they are more classic.

I like lots of expesive bags. D&B, Coach, Chanel...stick with the classic designs, not the stupid, trendy pastels or floresent colors. They all look smart and wont go out of style.

Lets be honest it is all about the name brand like for example coach; you see 10 year old girls walking down the street with them!

i dont like dooney and bourke...i think theyre cute bags but everyone has them...they're not very expensive so i mean if i wanted one i would get one but EVERYONE has them...im more into coach and juicy but the dooneys are cute ... like i said i dont want one cuz everyone has them and i like to be more of an individual

i think because they are designer but they are not as expensive as gucci or louis vouitton. that is the same reason a lot of people wear coach. they want affordable luxury items. plus they are cute and trendy and easily accessable.

I actually don't like them. I've got a knitted purse made with Red Heart acrylic yarn...so...that's what I've got for a brand. It serves it's purpose well and looks really cute.
