I am almost 21 years old and pregnant. so I think. THe day after christmas I took a pregnancy test. ANd went to a dr. on the 27th, it was confirmed that I am/was in fact pregnant. this is serious so please no smart remarks to these questions I am having a very hard time dealing with this. Today I woke up and thought I'm pregnant this should be the happiest day of my life right? until I went to the bathroom, because I felt wet. when i went bathroom i was bleeding very heavily, and now am passing blood clots, this has went on for about 14 hrs. I have stomach cramps, and back pains. Am i losing my baby? I called the hospital and all they could say was your probably having a miscarriage most likely, and it will pass. call us in two weeks and we can do a DNC. I think that is how u spell it. anyhow I am a first time mom, and I thought it was rude for them to put it like that. what do u think is happening could I just be getting my period very badly?

About 6 months ago i took a home pregnancy test on a friday night it was in fact positive, but it was the weekend so i was going to wait until monday to have it confirmed, but then I got my period taht sunday, so I thought, and i thought the test was just inaccurate. My mom told me to call a clinic so I did, because my period was very heavy then too, and they said it was a miscarriage. WHat do i do. I am going to lose it. I was so happy. How come the most horrible people in the world can be lessed with a baby but I can's? what's wrong with me. I had severe pain so i went to a dr. before I foud out I was pregnant this time, and when they did a test it was negative, I had an x-ray done, and then a ultrasound and they found an ovarian cyst but when your pregnant u aren't supposed to have an x-ray done on your stomach. could this be why. Plus they gave me vikadin that night.

WHAT COULD IT BE COULD IT BE A TUBAL PREGNANCY WHAT. I meantto say the last detail I added I didn't have an ultra sound butthe nurse said the male dr. I had was dumb that I should have had one. My hospitl sucks

Could this be from the x ray that I had?? or a tubal pregnancy. i'm only 6 weeks if I am having more than one could i lose one or both?

On a different note, and not to be insensitive or mean, but why are you trying to get pregnant at the age of 20? Grow up a little first... You have like 15 more years before you should feel like you "have" to have a baby.

Go to the emergency room emediately. You are in fact having a miscarriage. Possibly due to the stress of finding out that you are pregnant. D&C's are not harmful to you. But the bleeding can get worse. You could hemorage, you could die if it's gone on too long without going to the hospital. I've had 3 miscarriage and last one i was hospitalized for a month for bleeding sooooo much. Believe me, when the time is right for you, you'll have a baby if you want :) And YES the hospital is rude for telling you to call in 3 weeks. They have NO right treating people the way they do these days and if i were you TALK to the administrator of the hospital and if nothing's done.....talk to a lawyer, they could have harmed you if you had listened to them. You don't wait 2 to 3 weeks after a miscarriage to have a D&C. The remains in the vaginal wall could cause infection, the loss of blood could kill you. GO! go there as quick as you read this......and i am sorry for this being sooo long. Good Luck to you and i'm terribly sorry for your loss

Since you don't normally get your period during pregnancy, I'm sorry to tell you that you probably are having a miscarriage. Since this can be a serious problem, I suggest you go to the emergency room in case there is excessive bleeding. I suffered a misscarriage about a year ago and I didn't have to have a D&C, which is what you have to have if all of the products of conception aren't evacuated on your own by passing the bloodclots and tissue like you are having your period. Sorry to hear about this during the holidays.

unfortunately it sounds like you you are miscarrying... and no one is ever as sympathetic as you would like them to be, but also honesty is best
if it were a trickle of blood it could have been implanting, but the heavy blood and clots sounds as though you are losing the baby
i miscarried 2 years back
and I had to sit in a hospital bed and just bleed out, just be calm and go to the hospital emergency room if you need to and bring someone ... they will have you sit in the room for as long as you need to until everything has passed
how far along were you ? have you by chance seen the baby ?
I don't mean to be rude but it give them a better idea
I unfortunately saw my baby when it happened
Sorry for the loss
and just think your body aborted this due to something being severely wrong with the embryo/fetus this is it's way of cleaning house and making things better for your body
and remember just because you miss carried now doesn't mean you won't go on to have healthy pregnancies
just make sure you call your Dr tell them you are bleeding out and they will tell you to come in , 2-3weeks they will check you and make sure it is all out and make sure there is no infection

You should go to a hospital and get checked, because if you are having a miscarriage problems can occur in you. But if you not have a miscarriage them you shouldn't be passing blood clot, and you should got to the hospital anyways. If you don't go to the hospital call you doctor Tuesday morning. I Feel for you.
If you go to the hospital and they tell you that you are having a miscarriage. Don't get upset with the doctors they cant do anything to stop it.

I am sorry to say that you probably are having a miscarriage. All your symptoms do sound like it. The hospitals usually are not very nice about it because to them it is just routine to them. It is nothing you did or could do to prevent it. I would call your doctor on Tuesday and go in to see him. If you do feel really weak or anything or are losing an unusual amount of blood I would go to the ER to get checked out.
You need to rest and take some pain reliever. I am sorry that this is happeing. TAke Care of yourself.

The combination of excessive blood and clots, along with the pain sounds as if you're miscarrying an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy so you need to get to an ER right now. Don't even wait until tomorrow --- call someone and go now!

It doesn't sound good. I did have a gush of blood at the beginning of my pregnancy, went to the hospital, after tests, they sent me home to basically miscarry over the weekend. I didn't miscarry, but you seem to be having more things going on and they have been lasting longer. Sorry...I would call my doctor Tuesday and he can do a sonogram to check.

im so sorry i have had a misscarage about one month ago . and i called my doc. and the lady who answer the phone was so rude. it like she didnt even care about me or my health . you should go to the e.r. that the best thing they can keep you over night to watch you and make sure your okay. but the day i had the misscarge i was fine . then i went in to take a nap and woke up to cramps and went to the restroom and found a lot of blood . yes i know you hurt know and nothing can change what happend but take one day at a time .

I've lost 4 babies early in pregnancy al around about 6 weeks. I seriously couldn't figure out why I kept loosing my babies. Then I left the guy I ws with and am pregnant by another guy 32 weeks and 4 days. It was all the stress I got from him and my family becuz they didn't like him. He was constantly gone and cheating. One night he said he ws just running to his friends house and I told him I'd wait for him outside so we didn't wake anyone up by us going in and out. So I sat outside with my blanket and feel asleep I woke up hours later it ws raining. I miscarried that night becuz of the stress. Maybe its the same for you. But believe me its not your fault.
