I have a 27 year old 2nd cousin and a 33 year old 2nd cousin both expecting in May. My 27 year old cousin just now started showing but my 33 year old cousin started showing a couple weeks ago. Why is my 24 year old cousins so much later then the others. My 24 year old cousin is expecting in the beggining of May and 33 year old cousin at the end of May. Is it because my 33 year old cousin has 3 other pregnancys?? i just wondered and it was bothering me.

Yes. your 33 year old cousin would start showing earlier because she's been pregnant before. It could also be that your 33 year old cousins baby might be bigger than your 27 year old cousins baby.

In your first pregnancy you don't show as fast.
But for your other question don't listen to those girls her husband needs to know as soon as possible...I think they meant when should you tell your family. But I think you should tell everyone asap I mean why wait. Thy are your family and they will wonder why she is sad if she does miscarry and if she tells them why they won't like that she never told em. They will wonder why she didn't. My mom knew the next day after I found out. I went the next day to get a second test an at the dr's to be for sure. Then took all the papers and test home and threw em in her lap. She was like what is this??? Are you pregnant?!?!? She was excited. I don't think you should wait on telling your family. Esp..not the husband this has alot to do with him as well.

First pregnancies can take longer to show because your muscels are much tighter and stronger, also some women carry smaller than other but can still have larger babies, and it depends on there body type and weight.

women who have had more babies, tend to show sooner in their pregnancy than first time, second time moms.

It is probably because it is not her first. I started showing faster with my current pregnancy than my first.

Every woman, every pregnancy, and every baby is different...Some people show sooner because of their body type and because they have had babies before...

yes i've heard in many books that woman who have had more than one preg usually show alot sooner than ones who have not.
