it sounds like it maybe 14kt white gold...you can bring it to any jeweler and they can test it for you....as for the d.i.a or d.i.t...i've never heard of that ask the jeweler...

there is 10, 14 and 18kt white and yellow gold and a marking of 925 stamped inside a piece of jewelry means its silver...platinum will have a PT or PLAT stamped on it.

Well if you look closely you can probubly see some sort of goldish colour. if you see this then it is white gold. 14kt white gold.
