ANY country can be fun.
What are your interests?
Shopping, sports, spiritual retreat, spas/hot springs, history (WWII, samurai, etc.), temples, sight-seeing, hiking, nature, flowers, culture, cities, countrysides, animals, good food??

Japan has it all, and much more.

I think Japan's fun. Especially the shopping, the food, and the beautiful sights. It's a fun place to be in if you are willing to travel by foot most of the time.
If you're someone who tires easily, then it's probably not fun for you.

Japan is friggin awesome. Just dress like a coloring book and you'll fit in with the rest of the girls in Harajuku.

Seriously, Japan has its delights. Not a party place, mind you, but not a bad place to see.
