All bills had been paid, including rent and car payment. We had some type of " emergency expense" and this x'mas shopping stuff took our extra $$$. This never happened to us before, only this week. I make enough to support both of us.

Well there is no way you can survive on $60 a week. Well how much are you getting paid an hour and how many hours do you work? That is an unfair amount of money and specially for 2 that's crazy.

You may also look out for an option to work online. Although it wont pay you like full time job but you can make some extra cash in your spare time. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit

I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)

Wow...not here in New Jersey. That would be quite impossible.

In my opinion, It depends on the cost of living index of the state you are living in.

Check out these links for more details:

Why not work 5 days a week instead of 4, or both of you go to work?

Well here in NYC that lasts you about 36 hours. My rent is 1,400. Maybe you live somewhere very rural and live on Ramen Noodles.

is one disabled? if so they should get benefits. if not then they should look for day labor while they apply for jobs. but by going to a low cost grocery store and using candles at night. i guess you might be able to . if you don't have to pay rent

Easy answer is no. Harder answer is if one is retired or on disability - or unemployment insurance...then you need to factor in possible penalties for amount earned.
