Do you usually spend all of it? And you want to limit how much you spend? How much do you want to limit it? That will answer your question.
On the other hand, having extra money in your pocket, and not spending it, can be good excercise in building frugal habits.

Depends on what you earn and the budget for each month/year. The bigger your pocket the more you spend, so $50-100 could even be too little. Usually anything more can be paid with a credit card.

it depends on how much you plan to spend. If you plan to spend 50, then bring 50 instead of 100. This way if you're all out of money you won't spend anymore.

Depends on how much you budget for clothes. Are you going to have enough money for food, rent, cell phone, car, etc etc etc. If you live with your parents go buck wild and spend all your money.

i would take 50 because the more money you take the more you will won't to spend but the less you take the less you can spend and you will also run out of money.
