Ok, here is the deal. My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years and have pulled out every single time, but I have not gotten pregnant. I'm not saying it would be a bad thing, we already have a kid, but if it happens, it happens. I am more worried that I am infertile or something, because people always say that it's easy and pulling out is 85% effective, then why hasn't it happend yet?

Withdrawal is 80-90% effective. According to the stats.

That means per year of each 100 women using it as a form of birth control 10-20 will become pregnant.

Over two years you would expect 20-40 to become pregnant. That's not even half. So I wouldn't worry about it.

Also I think some women's bodies know when they are and aren't trying. Hope that helps.

sweety by now you should really know that the pull out method does not work. yes guys do feel it when they are about to bust, but when they pre-c.u.m they dont feel it, and pre-c.u.m. has enough sperm to get a girl pregant. remember you need only one egg and one sperm to fertilize, pre-c.u.m. has more than 1% sperm in it im not quite sure how much exactly but it definately has sperm in it. since you have been having sex for a couple of days now, recomending the plan b pill will be useless, all you can really do now is wait and hope you dont get pregnant. wait a week after you miss your period to test and find out hope you the best hun good luck be more careful next time.

Yes you can get pregnant from "pulling out" . There is sperm in the precum, and you can get pregnant. You are not infertile because you all ready have one child, you get pregnant from your
ovulating, and you must be not having sex around your ovulation dates. Best Wishes and Happy New Years.

Yes, you can get pregnant. The pullout method is not very effective form of birth control. In fact many women are pregnant because of it. The fact is even pre ejaculate contains sperm. It just takes one sperm. But, if you question your fertility go to a doctor. It will ease your mind.

Why are you tempting fate when condoms are so cheap?

My friend got pregnant this way, so it can happen.....don't put too much faith in "85%' as really when you think about it, how could they even get close to an accurate number?

Conceiving a child should not be a crap shoot. Stop playing around with the lives of your children. Use reliable birth control and by that I do not mean abortion. Being a responsible parent begins before conception.

I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter from that method. Unless you want to get pregnant go by some condoms.

Yes you can get pregnant from pulling out. Since you haven't gotten pregnant then your timing on pulling out has been accurate and that is why your not pregnant.
