I would think it's great. but he HAS to keep it maintained. underarm stubble on a guy is just as disgusting as it would be on a girl. i know alot of guys who keep it trimmed, which is nice, since its still sort of rugged and masculine without being disgusting and messy.
ask the lady in your life what she thinks. you'll both be glad you did before you possibly made the wrong choice. and remember, generally, do what makes YOU comfortable and dont make a personal decision to please someone else

I would think that he wants to have clean shaven armpits and not smelly ones. However, I think that I would also ask him why he does it and see if I feel comfortable with the reason that he does it and take things from there.

um, yeah! why dont men shave under their arms?? i guess if i had a man that did, i would think it would be weird, but too bad men didnt start shaving it when the women did and it would be common now

I actually think its fine, i hate seeing it when guys lift up their arms and there is a big bush of hair sticking out, its gross! So I dont mind it at all and actually my boyfriend trims his, i think its way better like that.

I prefer trimmed but I wouldn't hold it against him if he shaved it.

that would be a little weird... but as long as he doesn't shave his legs. that would be super weird.
armpit hair isn't pretty, so i probably wouldn't miss it....
