You're obviously a poser since any true gothics would know what kind of music they listen to. But trust me, Green Day is so NOT gothic. Kids today don't know what gothic is, it's sad, soooo sad. They don't know what punk is either, but I'm getting off topic. From a former GOTH herself (I grew up eventually and got a life)....The Cure, Type O Negative (check out their songs Chrisitian Woman and Black #1, which still rock today) anything NIN and Manson. Check out Ramstein too, its heavy and dark at times. Just listen to what you like, it's music, and don't let music define who you are cuz then it just makes you look shallow and simple.

this is odd; shoot for pop rock, Simple Plan, My Chemical Romance, bands like that.
20s-40s jazzy music. Something a little sultry, but most are still into the whole 80s music still.
