I have a 1999 set that has a discolored penny in it. I kept it and just bought a new one. Is the discolored set worth more or less? I love to collect coins and have a large collections of old and proof sets but I have never had them looked at.

I should have said that the metal appears defective, not discolored. It almost looks like acid came in contact with the blank before it was struck. It came from the mint this way and there is not a crack in the case. All other coins in the set are perfect.
