Everyone knows it's fake but I think there are people out there who want to believe it's real. High school, collage and the Olympics are the only wrestlers.

Ultimately, the reason why WWE came out and admitted wrestling was "entertaiment" was to avoid problems with certain states, who were going to make them pay sanctioning fees like boxing.
Most of the newer wrestlers are comfortable with coming out and admitting that wrestling is entertainment. But, many of the old school guys are not. In the past, top wrestlers generally had to be legitimate tough guys, as well. After all, no promoter wanted to have his champion get his butt kicked at the local bar.
So, walking up to somebody like Harley Race and saying "you're a fake wrestler" is not something I would recommend if you value your body parts.

I sure didn't know it was a secret!!
I know there are a bunch of fans that believe its real, but that too isn't a secret either.
Not everyone believes it's fake. Some follow the antics and arguing among the stars closely and can tell you who said what about who at any time. And follow the storyline just like the soap opera fans do.
It's called entertainment.

the way the storylines and everything goes IS entertainment, BUT!!! the wrestling IS NOT FAKE at all i am a wrestler on the indy circut around my hometown and so i know first hand that the WRESTLING part is absoulutl no fake.

For the same reason you wouldn't tell that any other sport is scripted. It keeps things selling.

yea its not suppose to be a secret.....thts why they change it from the WWF to the WWE b/c it is only entertainment and not real.
