First he plays a pirate, then he plays Willy Wonka (Who looked a lot like michael jackson), then he plays a pirate again... What is it about him that you people won't shut up about him?

I agree that he's a good actor and everything but he's just one of the many many good actors out there, I don't see why all the fuss is about him though... and besides isn't it time we saw pirates 2 on tv?

he sa good actor. hes eccentric, and he doesnt care.
he was just ok as willy wonka, but he is a very very very good actor, being able to do many different characters, and he doesnt care if people say he is weird. hes my kind of person.

I loved him in Pirates and Willy Wonka. He was really good in both movies. He's good looking but It's not like I'm obsessed with him.

Well he is hot and a great actor.
Don't you think that because he played all these roles people talk about him more...he went from a pirate to willie wonka and that's a change. Anyways why is it so wrong that we talk about him??

I am not personally a Depp fanatic. That is, I don't obsess. I do find him attractive. :)
But I think I understand. People are not drawn to him just for his looks, as people often are to celebrities. He's versatile; every role he plays pushes someone's buttons, and that's important. He works to develop a character to its fullest, just the way you're taught in acting classes. He just goes above and beyond.

He is a great actor! He can play any kind of role from drama to comedy to horror! He was great in Edward Scissorhands, Benny & Joon, What's Eating Gilbert Grape and Secret Window! He is just a good and very versitile actor! He's also very sexy!!

You haven;t heard me say a word about him. I think he is a little on the peculiar side, but in my opinion, he is a very good actor since he can pull off any character that he tries to display.

He is HOT! And he is not a sell out. He chooses the roles that mean something to him not the ones that will pay the most. No one else could do Jack Sparrow the way he does.

he is one of the very few men whom look hot when they are covered in dirt. i didn't care for him much in willy wonka but oh my god in pirates of the caribean he was awesome

i don't obsess about him, but he is a good actor. and he doesn't play the same role more than once (Jack Sparrow being the exception). and he can pull off any role. and he's hott.
