I liked my good year Ultra Grip tires on my car..

and My Goodyear Wratglet AT's on my jeep...
on uce unfortuneatly nothing really works...always remember to drive safe, and with a four wheel drive vehicle four wheels slide as good as 2...

Bridgestone Blizzak -read tire rack's review of them it says no winter tire they have tested is in their league! and sorry to bust that guy's bubble but YES you can grip on ICE because the slipping tires do is from friction melting the ice and you are actually slipping on the WATER created by the melting ice. ice itself is a dry surface

None..... nothing grips on ice.... studded tires rip up the ice and you slide as a result....try to avoid ice if you can. Thats about it.

sorry to say nothing really has "grip" on ice, best bet would be chains if your wanting to go the cheap way.

Coopers have a special snow tyre but they are not cheap but last a long time with great performance

Michelin X-Ice are fairly good and work well with the smallest of cars. Yokohamas are another good bet.

goodyear all weather tires are pretty good in snow...i have have four of them..they run at 159 each
