True friendship is loving someone in spite of their flaws and being supportive of them even when you sometimes don't understand what they are doing or why.
It is also about listening, truly stopping what you are doing and hearing what they are saying and trying to understand their feelings from their point of view.
Friendship is love in the sense that you help them be a better person and they do the same for you in return.
