does it take special skills to get someone to like you? or is it always looks that matter?

There are no special skills. Just be yourself, be honest, be confident, be able to laugh at your own silliness, have a good sense of humor. These are all things that are attractive, no matter what you look like. Looks are very overrated.

yes looks is quite an important factor. if you look good, then chances are your skills will work.

if you look just ugly, your skill may not even work.

but if you look average, perhaps a good mastery of the art of attracting can get you somewhere.

Like believe it or not is deeper than love. Like is out of our control. There is nothing you can do to make someone like you. What you can do is present yourself well and be there for them to notice you but anything more than that is manipulating a situation and setting you up for a relationship where you are plan B. Don't do it.

If they only like you for your looks, they will stop liking you as soon as they think someone else looks better. The way you get someone to like you is to be friendly, be confident, and be yourself. If the person you are interested in is only interested in your looks, they aren't worth having around anyway.
