The other day, I asked why people eat dog meat. I got 12 answers. 9 of the 12 answers were answered in a rude and agressive manner. To be honest, I was shocked by the agressive tone of some answers. I wonder why people are defensive and agressive when they answer yahoo questions. I think they should refrain from answering if they can't answer in a civilized manner.

I completely agree.
It seems there are too many immature and insensitive people on here.
Don't worry about it.....just ask whatever you want. I'm sure you can pick out the irrelevant answers. Just ignore the rude people.
The internet is so anonymous and people feel the security of being able to lash out whenever they want. That's just silly.

The ---ones who think there so highly smarter than us are being rude.I ask a question boy rude and smart remarks they gave to me.This why iam not asking any more questions.Unlest Doing like you --we bring this to every ones attention, if you can,t used kind words answering people !!lose 2- point for being rude answering.. or-.thumb them off each time till they learn not be so mean and rude answering questions.

I have to agree with you at times. I believe that there are more angry people in the world today, there amount that seem to be miserable (for their reason) and seem to express anger while speaking, writing,typing just in their general manner.
I really dislike anyone speaking nasty as if they were upset with me, to treat me like dirt when I have no involvement in their life what so ever, I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND AN ANSWER TO SATISFY MYSELF AS TO WHY ANYONE SHOULD BE SPOKEN TO OR TREATED RUDELY OR WITH THE LACK OF COMMON COURTESY. I am tired of trying to figure people out, I have given up
But I see no reason to cause anyone heart ache or disturbance in their life unless they hurt my family or my animals.

I will answer both your questions politely.The rich and wealthy have no idea how the poor and dispossessed have to live.
You may have got answers also from bitter poor people who lack the education to be able to know that yours could be a sympathetic
question.In regard to you first question again some people to buy decent food..

there are rude and obnoxious ppl everywhere and most likely they misread or misinterpreted your question and popped off before thinking. also there are some that are just rude and nasty for no reason at all...you just have to ignore them....fyi: most ppl especially here in the u.s. do not eat dog meat but in korea they do. they actually have 'dog farms' like we have cattle and chicken farms. they used to sell it on the streets off of carts and in restaurants but have really toned it down because of the olympics and they didn't want to offend foreigners. the thing is its difficult to judge them as it is their culture and they have been eating dog for generations and see nothing at all wrong with it. and too there are some things we eat here in the u.s. that would gross other cultures out...so you just try to accept the differences without judgment.

I would never suggest where those people might come from...
Aask away, it is a legitimate question....why would people eat Frogs legs, alligator meat...and why the hell do people eat raw fish ??..like what is with that ??

Ask dumb questions, get dumb answers. People eat dog meat for the same reasons you eat whatever meat it is that you eat. Many people, myself included are just flabergasted by the people who ask questions, the answers to which are just so much COMMON SENSE. Or they ask the same inane questions over and over and over.

It's the internet. You can't control the ignorace and immaturity of people on here. They do it for attention and the majority of those people are kids. Don't give them the attention that they are craving, just ignore them.

I hate that Too!! I put no stupid stuff and i dont get stupid dtuff you should put no stupid stuff and you might not get it well at least i dont get it!!!!!!!!And if you get it ignore it! I ignore it!
