Not the greatest, but one of my favorites and I don't actually know why, but just recently saw the movie again on TV after years from when I first saw it at the movie theater is........"Saturday Night Fever". It is actually 2 lines starting with John Travolta's character Tony Manera saying to Donna Pescow's character, Annette........."Are you a nice a girl or a whore?" She replies with........."Can't I be both?" In the original movie version I don't think he used the word 'whore', I think he used the 'C' word. Anyway, it cracked me up. I really love the movie now more than ever & now that I am an old lady, can really appreciate it.

When life makes you have to put up with mean and hateful people
just think of them as sandpaper.

They may scratch you, rub you the wrong way, but eventually...
you end up smooth and polished, and the sandpaper
it’s just going to be worn out and ugly.

from the movie: The Fighting Temptations, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Beyonce Knowles.

who says it?....Beyonce Knowles character

It once was from Napoleon Dynamite- just a simple- Heck yes! But then it got old.

So now I love quoting Borat! Borat (Sasha Cohen) is sitting in a feminist group next to a woman with very short hair who is talking about equality for women and he thinks something like

"But I could not pay attention to what this old man was saying because all I could think of was C.J. in her red water suit."

I forget how it went precisely but it had that affect. Imagine it in his accent too. Teehee.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story. And this one, is very good. This one is perfect.

My favorite movie quote is:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

This quote is from Akeelah and the Bee. Akeelah (Keke Palmer) says it, she is quoting Marianne Williamson. :)♥
