I really adore my school music teacher and I think that she and I would make really awsome friends, but how can I approach this matter? I don't know if people, or even she will think that my motives are negative, just because she is a teacher. Do you even think that being friends with a teacher is even possible? I mean, she's only in her early twenties, whereas I'm a sophomore in high school. I personally think that it would be a shame for me to loose this chance, because in real life, she's an awesome person to socialize with, in addition to having the potential to be an even greater friend.

It's OK to be friends with teachers. When I stay after school for tutoring or to finish up some work, I talk to my teachers and we become friends. We talk about our cellphones, our weekend plans, etc. If you stay after school or go in before school (with the teacher's permission) to finish up some work, do extra credit or get tutoring-talk about other things in between working.

I'd highly recommend though that you do NOT ask her to go to parties, the mall, movies, or any other after school activity. It's one thing if she goes to your games if you're in school sports or something extra curricular like that-but she can look bad if she goes to hang out with you at parties and stuff. See, people will suspect she is showing favoritism and then everybody will want her to go hang out with them. Plus, it's not really professional for a teacher to do that with a student. If they're family-it's one thing, but if they're not-that's completely different and a definite no no.

Good luck!!

have you ever had instructors that inspired you, Made an outstanding difference in existence or have been a good function kind for you? it is why we replace into instructors because of the fact we would desire to make a difference interior the lives of their scholars. useful the pay sucks yet you dont do it for the money, you do it because of the fact its a calling, a vocation. You do it considering the fact which you?want to be there. Ive been coaching in Japan for?the final 28 years, some days are a drag and intensely some days i want to strangle my scholars however the coolest ones make it priceless, once you notice the gentle bypass in in someones eyes, you notice the hobby for getting to grasp some thing new. If that starvation has been extinguished in you that would make you ask your self why everybody might replace into instructors, yet once you like toddlers, love getting to grasp and love coaching then thats why you do it and maximum days it doesnt experience like surely artwork. plenty extra helpful than sitting in a cubicle and pushing around paper all day.

Be friendly with her but do not attempt to become friends. For one thing, she would feel uncomfortable (one of her roles is to act as a parental figure at school) and secondly, either one of you could get into trouble for it.

Wait until you are out of school. If you are around her quite a bit, you may become friends in adulthood.

i don't think that anything would be a problem with that if you just hung out after school. If you think that it would be a bad idea thatn that means that you don't want to take the risk and forget it. but you will never know what happen if you don't take the risk.
Good Luck :)

I think teachers should stay teachers, untill YOU'RE out of school and are of an age, where SHE won't get in trouble for being with you....she could and would get in trouble if the school, school board, parents, etc find out she's more than friends with her students...IN SCHOOL.
