I like cats. I've never had a dog but I hate dogs that jump all over you. And cats are easier to take care of.

Well, it really depends on what type of person you are. If you have more of an independent, busy lifestyle, a cat may be better. They like time on their own, and have litterboxes. If you have a more relaxed, boring, kinda laidback lifestyle, a dog is definitely for you. They are loyal and most would just love to curl up next to you or in your lap, or play ball, or just play! If you have a very time consuming job though make sure to think about what type of dog you are getting (if that is what you are getting.)

I like both, had a dog once, he died young. However, I love cats, I have two and the oldest living cat I had was 20 years old :)

I like both! Dogs are fun to snuggle with, and cats are good to pat on the head and then be left alone!

Virtually impossible to pick between these 2. Cat's independence can make them seem somewhat detached. And they don't seem loyal like dogs. Dogs really give UNCONDITIONAL love too, one reason may be because they're more dependent on their owners. I love them both though.
