yes! and i hate it with a passion. it happens because when your sit down or lay down your tilting the uterus back, like a bowl, if you tip it one way itll pour out and if u tip i t back then th fluid stops. so when you stand up, theres a rush and it all comes out at once intead of iin a trickle like nromal

yes this is normal ,due to gravity ,like when you stand up ,you will feel the flow. So don't worry about it too much and be asured that everybody feels it every now and then .
Happy new Year

Yes, it's normal. :( Gross, eh?
To correct another poster's response...an IUD will not cause you to stop having periods. It is a method of birth control, but does not prevent ovulation and menstruating.

Yes, it's normal. It isn't huge amounts gushing out, tho. Just seems like it. One of the reasons why I prefer tampons. :(

yes, and good for you using pads instead of tampons! your body will clear out sooner and more effectively, as well as your 'madam' isn't being stretched because of wear and tear of tampons!

It happened to me before I had an IUD put in. After about 6 months, I stopped having periods alltogether. If you're old enough and your doctor thinks it's a good idea, go for an IUD. It has been a blessing.
