Tip: usual slope-intercept equation is: y = mx+b :m is the slope; b is the y intercept and (x,y0 is a factor on that line. if m is (+) helpful which ability the line y=f(x) is increasing( or increasing). if m is (-) negetive which ability the line y=f(x) is falling ( or reducing.) (stream is taken from Left to good). Given: m = 8 and b = 8, so, y = 8x+8 or y-8x-8 = 0 <= answer when you consider that m is (+) helpful which ability the line y=f(x) is increasing. stream taken from aleft to good.

In y = mx +b form where m is your slope and b is your y intercept,
y = 2/3x - 8
In standard form ax + by = c,
y = 2/3x - 8
-2/3x + y = 8
-2x + 3y = 24 is the standard form.
