everyones telling me different things. like 20 weeks or 16 weeks if any one knows exactly how far along u have to be to tell the sex please tell me?

im almost 10 weeks. so i got like 10 more weeks left. i can wait i hope i have a girl !!!

anywhere from 18-20 weeks. They like to say 20 because thats when most ultrasound are scheduled but they can usually tell by the 18th. you usually have appointments every four weeks. so if your scheduled for the appointment in the 19th week they will be able to tell you as long as the baby cooperates.

I was 16 1/2 weeks with baby number 1 and 18 weeks with baby number 2 and we having found out when we will find out with baby number 3.....

Most doctors schedule that ultrasound at around tweenty weeks. It is visible before then, but they like to wait to twenty weeks to be completely sure. I got mine at 19 weeks and it was right. Don't get your hopes up about the 16 weeks. Congrats and good luck. Hope you get what you want.

20 weeks for sure. The ultrasound tech told me they cant see much before that. So at 16 weeks they might be guessing.
