I feel really sad that the bad people in Iraq are taking so many innocent lives. Will the death of the brutal dictator that terrorized them for so long finally allow them to heal?

plz ur question needs time, but do pay heed and u will be most contented...
before reading this answer u need to neutralise ur mind a little, ur media is v powerful it knows how to tarnish the minds so it does,
anyway what if ur father behaves badly in the house, beats ur mother, and each night u sleep crying, would u go to the neighbours and ask them to come over to ur house and take over???
i guess not,
alright what if u dont ask them and they become sympathetic and come to take over ur house, would you allow them? would u feel happy? would u be relieved? what ever your father do, whever u face an anlien attack all of you become totally and completely organised and united against the intruders. this is the simplest and perfect answer. "iraqi's would surely improve their life and their relations."
its cuz they have seen that if they dont mend their ways others will come and rule upon them.
my dear talking about wars and being a part of it are two different things, believe me they are also humans so do they have brains, which most of the people wont believe.
anyway now coming to the hidden facts,
BBC, CNN, Fox, VOA, VOG, and so on even the print media, u name it, theres a lot going on in their policies,
have u ever seen, the masacre in Kashmir, where every day more than 2 dozens of people die, they are doing it for the past 50 years. i am not talking about the reason i am saying that media doesnt highlight what ever harm comes to Muslims. U said " most of the people who are dying are iraqi police and not US military." my dear this shows a lot about the power the media has upon us all. they only show u the good side of the picture. i dont say they are lying or iraqi police are not being killed. what i am saying is
1. Media only tells u when iraqi police are killed not other wise,
2. they overestimate the no. of iraqi killings, and underestimate or completely conceal the facts about US killings. U know ???
i know it cuz i have other channels to see, like Geo, ARY and Aljazeera Tv, and i am living in a different world than u are, i have a different perspective as compared to u, both of us have to understand everything in our own scenarios, mayb i cant convince u, but atleast i am much aware of both sides than most of u ppl,
its all because of these invasions of US everywhere, that Muslims have evolved now, and are working on the electronic and print media. things have started to change...!!!

No. It is their culture to revenge the deaths of those close to them and of relatives no matter how distant. In addition, or as a result of this mindset, there are several ethnic and/or "religious" groups who HATE each other and need little excuse to kill the others.

Saddam, for all the evil that he did, was able to suppress these killings because they knew that he would not hesitate to kill hundreds or thousands if they upset him.

Without Saddam, or some other heavy handed ruler in place, the whole country will continue to become a collection of murdering tribes once again. This is what you see and hear about everday from the killings and bombings in Iraq.

I hate to tell you this but it was because Saddam Hussein was such a brutal dictator that he was able to make both sides stop fighting. His brutallity stopped the previous civil war. Now that he is gone, it is starting again, it's not new violence, it is the resumption of a previous civil war. Not that Saddam didn't deserve it. He deserved it several times over.

No, it will take the Iraqi government securing their borders from imported terrorist from Iran and Syria. Most of the people that are being killed are the Iraqi police and that should tell you something. Primary targets are not Americans but Iraqis.

It may not be possible
weapons & cruelty can not be totally removed with just power & war - it needs mental harmony, selfless attitude, true love towards humanity

If war can remove violence, it is just a temporary factor (history is the proof) as violence in many other forms will show its ugly heads in due course of time

you'll favor to outline WW3--- there's a lot conflict and suffering global huge now--real, no hydrogen bombs going off yet. I doubt Saddam's execution, in step with se, might want to be the reason of that. the really answer: all of us love God (no count number what you want to call Him) and love your neighbor like unto your self. as long as humankind splits itself up into ridiculous factions and needs to kill one yet another over their ameliorations there'll be ideological wars. And as long as people favor to selfishly take all factors and hoard them for his or her own selfish use without sharing with others, there'll be wars over all the different stuff. WW3--- WW one billion! every time you chosen to apply or abuse yet another residing entity, you're contributing to the wars in this global.

There would be a possibility of Al Quieda were not so heavily embedded there. They want a full fledged civil war to maintain the unrest there.

I don't understand why so many questions regarding Saddam and why there are so many interested in watching the actual execution, the guy paid for his crime against his people, but now is over, why don't we all move on to a different topic?..☺

It is not likely. Iraq has long been a country of division. Sunni and Shi'ite muslims are deeply opposed to one another.

I don't think so. His death was significant for a few, but for the insurgants still fighting, it really meant nothing. They would have been unified and healed when we deposed him if it was going to happen.
