on your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, whatever) right click at the top area just below the blue top of the browser window. If Navigation toolbar is not checked then click on it again to allow it to show your "file, edit, view, etc." If this change was brought on without you doing so or after a software install then download spybot or ad-aware from www.download.com and run a scan. They are free tools.

Launch your browser. Right click near the address bar (not in it, somewhere that clear) Then you'll see options of what can be there.
If your using Internet explorere 7 . launch IE7 > tools > toolbar.

if u are taking about file in IE7 press "alt".
